Terms of Conditions
Last updated: September 5, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Anjuman-E Rahmania Ahmadia Sunnia Trust ("the Trust", "we", "us", "our") website, including any donation, volunteering, contact or newsletter facility made available on it. By accessing the site, submitting a form, or making a donation through it, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the site.
These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your information.
2. About the Trust
Anjuman-E Rahmania Ahmadia Sunnia Trust is a registered charitable trust operating educational, religious, publishing and social welfare programs in Bangladesh. This website provides information about the Trust's programs, institutions and activities, and facilitates donations, volunteering and general enquiries.
3. Eligibility and Acceptable Use
You must be at least 18 years old, or acting with the involvement of a parent or guardian, to make a donation or submit personal information through this site. You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information whenever asked to do so.
You agree to use the site only for lawful purposes and agree not to: attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its underlying systems; interfere with or disrupt the site, its servers, or the payment gateway connected to it; submit fraudulent payment details or attempt to make a donation using funds, cards or accounts you are not authorised to use; or use the site in any way that infringes the rights of, or restricts or inhibits the use and enjoyment of the site by, any third party.
4. Donations
Donations made through this website may be directed to a specific fund, program or campaign selected at the time of contribution. The Trust reserves the right to allocate undesignated, excess, or unspecified funds to the area of greatest need, consistent with its charitable purpose.
All donations are processed in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) unless stated otherwise on the donation form. You are responsible for entering the correct donation amount and fund designation before confirming payment.
A donation receipt or confirmation email is issued once a payment has been successfully verified. This receipt is your primary record for the transaction; please retain it for your own tax and record-keeping purposes. Where the Trust's tax-exempt or donation-rebate status entitles a donation to any tax benefit under applicable law, it is the donor's responsibility to confirm eligibility with the relevant tax authority.
Donations are a voluntary and unconditional transfer of funds to a charitable trust and are, as a general rule, non-refundable once successfully processed. Refunds are considered only in the limited circumstances described in Section 6 (Payment Processing, Failed and Duplicate Transactions) below, or where required by applicable law.
5. Payment Gateway
Online donations on this site are processed through SSLCommerz, a licensed third-party payment services provider operating in Bangladesh, which allows payment by credit/debit card, mobile financial services (such as bKash, Nagad or Rocket), and internet banking, subject to the methods it makes available at the time of your transaction.
When you choose to pay online, you are redirected to a payment page hosted or secured by SSLCommerz. Your card number, mobile banking PIN, and other payment credentials are entered directly into that gateway and are not collected, seen, or stored by the Trust. The Trust receives only a payment confirmation, a transaction reference, and the donation details you provided (name, contact information, amount and fund), and relies on SSLCommerz's own security and PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure to process the payment itself.
A donation is confirmed by the Trust only after SSLCommerz's server-to-server payment notification (IPN) has been independently verified against SSLCommerz's validation service. A redirect back to this site indicating "success" is not, by itself, proof of a confirmed donation; the Trust reserves the right to treat a donation as pending or unconfirmed until this server-side verification has completed.
6. Failed, Duplicate and Disputed Transactions
If an amount is debited from your card, mobile wallet or bank account but no donation confirmation is received from the Trust, or if you are charged more than once for what you intended as a single donation, please contact us using the details in Section 12 with your transaction reference, the date and time of the attempted payment, and the amount charged.
Where our records, cross-checked with SSLCommerz, confirm that a payment was debited without a corresponding successful donation being recorded, or that a genuine duplicate charge occurred, the Trust will arrange for the amount to be reversed to the original payment method through SSLCommerz. Refunds of this kind are processed within 7 to 10 working days of confirmation, though the time for funds to reflect in your account depends on your bank, card issuer or mobile financial service provider and is outside the Trust's control. See our Return and Refund Policy for full details.
If you believe a donation was made in error, or wish to dispute a charge made through this site, please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer — this allows us to investigate and resolve the matter directly and more quickly.
7. Newsletter, Contact and Volunteer Forms
Information submitted through the newsletter, contact or volunteer forms on this site is used solely for the purposes described at the point of collection and in our Privacy Policy. You may unsubscribe from newsletter communications at any time using the link provided in those emails or by contacting us directly.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this site — including text, images, logos, graphics, video and design — is the property of Anjuman-E Rahmania Ahmadia Sunnia Trust or its licensors, unless otherwise credited, and may not be copied, reproduced, republished or distributed for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
9. Third-Party Links and Services
This site may contain links to third-party websites or services (including the payment gateway, and social media platforms) that are not owned or controlled by the Trust. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices or terms of any third-party site, and your use of such sites is governed by their own terms and policies.
10. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
This site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The Trust makes reasonable efforts to keep information on this site accurate and up to date, but does not warrant that the site or its content will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Trust shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site, or from any delay, interruption or failure in processing a payment through the payment gateway, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Trust, its trustees, officers, employees and volunteers from any claim, loss or demand, including reasonable legal costs, arising out of your misuse of this site, your breach of these Terms, or your submission of false, fraudulent or unauthorised payment information.
12. Governing Law and Grievance Redressal
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of this site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Bangladesh.
If you have a complaint or grievance regarding a donation, payment, or the conduct of this site, please write to us at the contact details below. We aim to acknowledge grievances within 3 business days and resolve them within 15 business days of receipt.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
14. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated periodically to reflect changes in our practices, the payment gateway's requirements, or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site, or making a further donation, after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
