Flood Relief Reaches Balaghata, Bandarban

The Gausia Committee Bangladesh's relief distribution programme has reached Balaghata in Bandarban, carrying essential supplies into one of the hardest-to-reach flood-affected areas of the hill district.

Volunteers in the committee's green vests carried sacks of relief materials on foot through the affected village, distributing packages directly to families whose homes had been affected by the flooding.

"From the hills to the plains, Gausiyans everywhere are engaged in the service of humanity," the committee said, describing the effort as part of a wider relief drive that has now reached communities across both hill and plain districts, and pledging that this tradition of service will continue, God willing, until the Day of Judgement.
